This standard duty flexible conduit is square locked type and helically wound from electro-galvanised steel strip.
Application :

Widely used for general electrical wiring where flexibility and mechanical protection are required.

A close fitting PVC coating that will not slide on the standard duty steel flexible conduit is formed by extrusion.
Application :

Highly flexible with protection against ingress of solid particles and most common liquids.

Construction :

a uniform coating of Low Fire Hazard material (Megolon S530 Compounds which are Halogen free and the Halogen Acid Evolution Ozone Resistance is Zero to BS6425:Part 1:1990 IEC60754-1) is extruded onto the standard duty steel flexible conduits to BS731.
Application :

Low Fire Hazard Coated Flexible Conduits is recommended for use where people or equipment are at risk if a fire should occur. Typical application areas such as: hospitals, public and commercial buildings, underground transport system, theatres & airports etc.
Working temp. : -25 degree to 80 degree
IP : 54 with 2 part standard fitting
  67 with E1W watertight fitting
